I’ve struggled with this. Not in a judgey way; but in a please-show-me-the-typical-resident kind of way. Because I don’t get it. Misguided trust-fund hipster? Nite-owl coked-out Wall Streeter? Pied-a-terre-seeking midwestern retiree?

Lately, when I see any text on a t-shirt that ends with an exclamation point, I feel the urge to point at it and shout the statement aloud. In fact, if I could do this, it would be so very satisfying, on a visceral level.
