Living above a Duane Reade is one of the greatest pleasures I’ve ever known.
I have a diner on one side, a supermarket on the other, a laundry directly below. These are relatively new conveniences to this neighborhood and it’s taken all I’ve had not to walk out the door in a bathrobe and jellies.
But then I remember that would go against the Credo.
