Yesterday another cyclist was hit in my town, while making a legal left-turn. Mingo Pelkey, 39, was wearing a helmet, signaled her turn, but a driver was impatient and while passing another car on the left, hit and killed her.
People, please stop allowing yourself the luxury of impatience when you’re behind the wheel.
Don’t forget you’re driving a 1-ton bullet.
In a better world, a driver’s license would be much harder for an average American to obtain.
Notice I did not say, “as hard to get as a gun license.” Because that would be a useless comparison.
